I had a pleasant stay at Loro Tuerto. The staff was very helpful and friendly, always willing to assist. Despite being located in the city center, the hotel was quiet and peaceful. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool. The breakfast, although not extensive, was satisfactory for the affordable price. The building had a charming Cuban-style bar that added to the overall ambiance. Additionally, the hotel felt safe with someone responsible for locking the doors after 10pm.

The cleanliness of the bathroom and under the beds could have been improved. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable.

Spent Easter holidays at this charming hotel. Loved the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The rooms had good-sized beds and the air conditioning worked great. The outdoor common area was my favorite spot, filled with hammocks and comfortable seating. Another great thing was the location, it was just a short walk to the coast and many shops nearby. Also, loved the fact that the hotel had an open kitchen where we could prepare our own meals.

The water pressure in the shower which could be a little better. Also, the hotel was locked at night which made it difficult for us to leave early for some of the tours we had booked. But overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and offered great recommendations for local excursions, including a visit to the salt lake Lago Enriquillo. The hotel had a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, with a shaded courtyard and free hammocks for guests to enjoy. The rooms were comfortable and had air conditioning, ensuring a good night's sleep. Lastly, the open kitchen was a great addition, allowing guests to prepare their own meals and experience a genuine taste of the Dominican Republic.
